Are you curious about how web pages adapt to different screen sizes? Do you want to build your own web page but don't where to begin? 

It's finally time to kick off Sunday season and everyone's invited! Join us for this beginner friendly Pink Sunday in Stockholm!

On September 18th, we'll gather at Knowit's bright office in the city centre of Stockholm to build web pages and talk about why diversity and inclusion matters - for everyone.

Maj Sörensen Ringi, Delivery Manager - Knowit

Maj Sörensen Ringi specialises in change management within Diversity and Inclusion. She leads Knowit group's award-winning D&I program and also helps management teams at both Swedish and international companies to drive change and achieve results. She is a Certified Coach and helps leaders, both those who are new to their role and senior leaders to develop their abilities. She has previous experience in sales and consulting at Salesforce and Knowit Development.

Workshop: Building a responsive web page with a mobile first approach

Have you been curious about how web pages adapt to different screen sizes? What is a mobile first approach for web design and what are the simple ways to make a web page interactive? In this session we will explore these questions and introduce you to the basics of HTML, CSS and JavaScript by building a responsive web page together.

Preparations: Bring your laptop with a code editor installed (VS Code)

Code language: HTML, CSS, JavaScript

Level: Beginners

Expected outcome:
We hope to give a glimpse into a real life web development. Attendees will leave with a basic knowledge of how to structure a HTML and CSS files, how to adjust a webpages layout to different screen sizes. Finally, and most importantly, we hope that attendees will understand that with the right amount of practice, anyone can do it!
